Your information, treated with care.

This notice explains how My DiaBuddy Ltd uses the information you provide through this website when you ask for updates, volunteer for future beta testing or express interest in a research interview.

What we collect

We collect your email address, your first name if you choose to provide it, the involvement options you select, and a record of your consent. Please do not submit medical details through the signup form.

Why we use it

We use your information to contact you only about the options you selected. Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier use. Registering interest in research is not consent to take part in a study; any later study will have its own participant information and consent process before health information is collected.

Where it is stored and who receives it

The website is hosted by Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Authorised people working with My DiaBuddy Ltd may access the information where needed to manage communications and research participation. We do not sell your details.

How long we keep it

We keep signup information while your selected interests remain active, and review the list periodically. We will delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed or when you withdraw consent, unless we must keep a minimal record to respect an opt-out or meet a legal obligation.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.

Unsubscribe or contact us

Use the unsubscribe link included in our updates, or email hello@mydiabuddy.co.uk with your request. My DiaBuddy Ltd is the controller of the information described in this notice.
